Bronx County, New York Inmate Search

On This Page

BronxCounty inmate search refers to using various tools to gather information about an individual serving time in a Bronx County jail. Like other New York boroughs, Bronx County inmate records are accessible online through the New York City Department of Corrections (DOC) Person in Custody Lookup Portal. This access portal permits users to search for information about inmates in detention centers and jail facilities within Bronx County and other New York City boroughs. Information accessible through the DOC Inmate Lookup includes;

  • Inmates current locations
  • Case information, including court date, location, and the charges against the inmates
  • Booking details
  • Bail or bond amount
  • New York State Identification Number (NYSID)
  • Jail mailing address.

The New York City DOC Lookup does not provide information about inmates who have been released, transferred to state penitentiaries, or in the custody of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) for 72 hours or less.

Note that the NYPD is the sole local law enforcement agency in New York City (including Bronx County). Interested individuals can contact the NYPD's Bronx Borough Command at:

Bronx Borough Command,

3929 East Tremont Avenue,

Bronx, NY 10465,

Phone: (718) 999-2407.
